Well, what has happened in these 6 months that has kept me from my neglected blog? Lemme see. Old business crumbled. New business (of MY OWN) started. Car went kapoot. Busy summer with the kids. Tried (and failed) homeschooling my kids and working full time. Sharing one vehicle - which means at least 1.5hrs in the drivers seat for me daily. (This summer it meant 4 hrs driving. UGH.) My cousin got engaged, another cousin had his baby girl, my baby brother is expecting his first baby (another niece for me!). Mom's been in and out of the hospital all year. I've just been busy.

My all time favorite season of the year is here - CHRISTMAS! I love the decor, the music, the friendly spirit radiating out of everyone. I love shopping and GIVING. I love baking. I love the smells. The pretty lights. I am soooooooo excited!

Hubby is battling some sort of urinary problem. Back pain (horrible), urinating pain, along with some other issues but his urine came back clear? Dr said that is sometimes normal though, that in 2 days it can come back FULL of infection. So she isn't sure if it is infection or stones or both. For now he is on pain meds and antibiotic.

Oldest LOVES SCHOOL THIS YEAR! We tried homeschooling mainly for his benefit. He has had not been paired well as far as teachers go the last two years, so we wanted to try homeschooling. Alas, my work schedule - which resulted in a long distance homeschool/sitter situation - was just too crazy to try to keep up house, homeschooling and playing taxi to hubby. The first day of school he came home and said "MOM, even if I get H1N1 tonight I WILL go to school tomorrow!" The second day was "MOM, I don't think my teacher and I are going to fight AT ALL this year. I love her!" The excited proclamations have stopped, but he hasn't complained once! Whoohoo!

Youngest hasn't really said either way how he feels about school. I met his teacher the other day, she is very nice and had lots of nice things to say about him, so I am excited for him as well! So proud of him for laying there and not moving for his stitches last week either! Whoohoo!

Both kids are being "pushed" this year as far as their comfort levels go with their work. Oldest is trying to plow through that darn multiplication and youngest is struggling with his reading but they are making me proud!

Me - I am fatter than ever. Ugh. I keep thinking that ONE OF THESE DAYS I will get fed up enough (or have NOTHING to wear at some point) and will do something about it. Someone have any motivation I can borrow?

Well - I have been starting my own business for one! All by myself! (With hubby's encouragement of course!) So I have basically been in survival mode lately. Doing just what I have to trying to get by. Spending my free time trying to figure ways to save my pennies for sure!

I have NOT been excercising. Routinely anyway. However I did manage to test for and recieve my yellow belt in karate! Exciting I know!

I just happened to see that I am included in Mrs. F's blogroll! (My old blog name is anyway!) So I thought I would resurrect this one. After all, if I am good enough to be included in her blog....I better be producing KWIM?

So, this is my horrible attempt at a comeback post.
I will get better. Bear with me. (or is it bare?)

Promised to post everyday, and two days later I miss a day. So this is me, un - promising. Things happen, no need to make excuses. Just need to post more than I do!

I was supposed to exercise this morning with a friend but I have a headache that just WON'T QUIT!

I am looking at ways to make money via internet. Any ideas?

I need more frugal inspiration. Help?

Changes are underway

Let's play catch-up, shall we?

Christmas and 2009 have come and gone.
I have found a step class that I love!
Total weight loss is currently hovering around 10lbs.
My business that I was Co-Owner of is now gone. Not because of bad business, because of bad partner.
Currently in a holding pattern on starting the new business till all the legalities of this one get finalized.
I have a clean house and clean laundry now!
I have much more time to exercise now!
I am poor(er) now!
I am an aunt again! Love my brand new nephew!
I am promising to post every day! I must!

I haven't exercised on the Wii fit since I posted last. 2 weeks. I suck @ life.
My boys didn't want to trick or treat this year. (9 and 7) We had the obligatory family members to visit....so they went as brats.
An apple with mozzarella cheese is soooo good.
I love The Today Show.
I use to be on Jon Gosselins side of the fight, until he turned into a celebrity wanna be prick. Just sayin....
Although I still don't enjoy Kate's attitude. I feel like she is talking down to America.
I should be cleaning my house.
I should be folding laundry.
I should be getting ready for work.
I should be setting out the trash.
I should be cleaning the cat box.
My grandparent's celebrated their 50th Anniversary this weekend. It was so sweet.
My cousin got married last weekend, and another cousin found out his fiance is expecting. I feel way old.

Getting Started

I am just so confused as where to begin. I don't want to "diet" my whole life. I don't want to spend my very minimal free time exercising.

I need to quit eating sweets, especially at 11pm while sitting at my computer.

I need to eat less carbs I think.

I need to learn more. Research. But there is so much information out there.

I do have incentive...one that speaks my language. (money)

I know that once I get started, and start seeing results, I will be much more ready to do it.

I have done it before. When I had more time. And a gym membership.

I just need to get it all straight in my head so I can get started.
